2.9 What Did You Learn? When you have finished Lesson 2, ask yourself the following questions: Style + Can I consistently recognize and play staccato notes, accents with correct jazz style? + Can | play each Vocabulary Pattern from memory? + Can | move and swing the eighth note patterns with the beat? Etude + Am | consistently able to play the Etude with correct jaz style, good intonation and without mistakes? + Can | play the Etude from memory? Improvisation + Can | create a 12 bar blues chorus with Lesson 1 and 2 blues vocabulary? + Can | accurately use fixed rhythms with eighth notes to make my own blues melodies? + Am | able to play several choruses of blues with a variety of my own blues melodies that include eighth notes?
