Faythe Baxter is a freshman art student who expresses herself through various art forms, especially drawing and photography. She is proposing an art installation for her school courtyard using stainless steel and sheet metal sculptures. The installation will include a geometrical rock made of stainless steel for its durability and ability to be welded into shape. Origami sculptures will be made of sheet metal for its flexibility in folding and weather resistance, and will incorporate gold, silver, and bronze sheets to make the designs stand out.

Location: Courtyard Concept Drawings Construction Plans Material: Stainless Steel & Sheet Metal I would use stainless steel for my geometrical rock. I would use this because it would be easier to move and weld together to create my art installation. The steel would also contrast with its surroundings, bringing attention to the project. This metal is also resistant to rust, making it very durable to the weather.
I would use sheet metal for the origami because it
would be the easiest to fold. This metal is also very durable to the weather. Think it I would also use sheets of gold, silver, and bronze to make the birds stand out more. These colors would also reflect the sunlight, further catching more attention.
