BM Hunter Guide for Nighthold

AoE Rotation:

Dire Stable, Stomp, Blink Strikes, Volley

ST Rotation:

Way of the Cobra, Dire Frenzy, Bestial Fury, Murder of the Crows

****If you do not have the Apex Claw Ring (LEGENDARY), always have your
pet on Ferocity. If you do have the ring, always have your pet on Tenacity.
Ferocity deals more default damage.****

Stat Weight: (top to bottom in importance)

80%+ Mastery

20% Haste

20% Crit

Skorpyron

AOE

Cast Bestial Wrath, Dire Beast (all charges), Titanstrike, Aspect of the Wild,
Kill Command/Cobra Shot (only if there are 0 adds)

-Once little skorpions come out, use Mult-Shot until none are left.

-Only Kill Command onto boss when there are no adds.

-Make sure the skorpions are close enough to the boss so your pet can cleave
onto them while attacking the boss. If they aren't, target an add and then
cleave onto the boss (if you can).

-Always make sure your Volley is activated.

-Use Stomp, Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Aspect of the Wild on CD. Use Multi-
Shot on CD when/if adds are alive.

Chronomatic Anomoly

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command /Cobra Shot] combo

-Rinse and repeat rotation.

-Only use Cobra Shot when in Bestial Wrath OR if you're focus is above 90 out
of 120 (so if you're close to filling up, just use 1 or 2 Cobra Shots to avoid
focus capping).

-Before first add spawns, you see the cloud. Disengage in the direction of the
cloud, command your pets to attack it. Fire Cobra Shot at it while your pets
are running there. DO NOT focus starve yourself using Cobra Shots, you're
just using it as a filler until your pets get to him. Interrupt when necessary.
When he dies, Multi-Shot the four new adds and once the boss is brought
over, target him and cleave onto the adds. Stay on the boss as much as
possible w/o totally ignoring the adds. If the adds don't die on Mythic, it's a
wipe (just a heads up).

-Tip: I use Dire Frenzy to help refill my focus when I am getting low. I do not
always spam it right away. It helps me keep my focus up in the middle of a
Bestial Wrath as it generates 25 focus instantly. This may be harder to do w/o
the shoulders. Dire Frenzy also increases the beast cleave speed of your pets
when you cast Multi-Shot by 30%. If this isn't viable, then just use Dire Frenzy
on CD.

-Use Murder of Crows, Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Aspect of the Wild on CD.

-Use Aspect of the Turtle if you have to run through any of the rings, use
Exhiliration if you're low on health. Make sure you're using your health pot
before resorting to Exhiliration.

Trilliax

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command /Cobra Shot] combo

-This is the most pure Single Target fight in Nighthold other than krosus.
-When cakes appear, if you're in Bestial Wrath, Cobra Shot while running to
the farthest cake, and Kill Command when you can afterwards. Kill Command
has a very far cast range as opposed to most other abilities. So utilize it when
you're far away from bosses and cannot cast anything else. Kill Command is
your best ST damaging ability.

-Save Aspect of the Cheetah for Enihilation in case you still have a cake
debuff and are too slow to keep up with the laser. Same goes to Disengage.

-Use Murder of Crows, Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Aspect of the Wild on CD.

Spellblade Aluriel

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command /Cobra Shot] combo

-This fight is mostly single target minus a few phases where 4-5 elementals
spawn. Keep using your single target rotation as described above until the
adds spawn and are pulled closer to the boss by the tank. At which time you
use Multi-Shot until they are dead.

-Use Murder of Crows, Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Aspect of the Wild on CD.

Tichondrius & High Botanist Tel'arn

AOE

Cast Bestial Wrath, Dire Beast (all charges), Titanstrike, Aspect of the Wild,
[Kill Command/Cobra Shot]

-Honestly these are my two worst fights and I'm having trouble finding which
talents work best. I will be trying out the AOE Talents on the next Heroic run.
Once I figure out what works best I will be sure to tell you.

Star Augur Etraeus

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command/Cobra Shot] combo
-This fight is almost pure single target as well with and exception being the
end phase.

-Use Murder of Crows, Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Aspect of the Wild on CD.

-Try your best not to focus starve in this fight, as your Bestial Wrath should be
used when you have the maximum amount of focus, keep a median between
not capping and not using too much between Bestial Wrath.

Krosus

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command/Cobra Shot] combo

-Same as above, just make sure when Krosus casts Burning Pitch that you
have a Kill Command ready to use and Dire Frenzy (if possible). You should be
as far back as possible to catch a pitch and still be able to cast one of both
abilities to attack Krosus (this way you do not lose DPS).

-Try not to cast Bestial Wrath too close to the Bridge Break Slam, otherwise
you will lose massive DPS while Krosus walks back within your pets' melee
range.

-Use Murder of Crows, Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Aspect of the Wild on CD.

Grand Magistrix Elisande

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command/Cobra Shot] combo

-Personally when the pink buff bubble goes up, I stand in it until the Arcanetic
Ring is about to come out. This gives you a massive Haste buff (makes you
run faster, cast faster and replenish focus faster).

-Same as above, if you're catching a Epocheric Orb (the ones you stand under
so the whole raid doesn't take damage), make sure you have a Kill Command
or Dire Frenzy to cast while you're standing there. Hopefully you're still in
range for all abilities though.

-Tip: after Elisande "leaves the nightwell" (not dead), if an add is still
technically alive sometimes you can command your pet to attack them and
use a Dire Frenzy. It will do 0 damage, however, it still shortens the cooldown
for Bestial Wrath.

-Try to avoid using Bestial Wrath right before Elisande "leaves the nightwell"
as you will lose 4-5 seconds of DPS time on your Bestial Wrath while she
spawns again.

-Use Murder of Crows, Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Aspect of the Wild on CD.

Gul'dan

ST

Cast Bestial Wrath, Titanstrike, Dire Frenzy (all charges), Murder of Crows,
Aspect of the Wild, [Kill Command/Cobra Shot] combo

-Use Time Dilation right at the start in combination with your Bestial Wrath.
However, do not start it until after you cast Murder of Crows so you can use it
mostly for the [Kill Command/Cobra Shot] combo. Do this as much as possible
with Bestial Wrath while Time Dilation is available.

-At the start Gul'dan has two adds that spawn, you can target either one, as it
is still purely single target at this point. It would not be beneficial to use Multi-
Shot with only two targets.

-When Gul'dan is inside of the rotating circle barrier (Phase switching), you
can also use Dire Frenzy on him. It will deal 0 damage but still shorten the
cooldown remaining on Bestial Wrath.

-Make sure you have Kill Command, Dire Frenzy or Bestial Wrath available for
Storm of the Destroyer. This way you do not lose DPS while everyone is
running away from the Storm.

-Use Aspect of the Turtle if you're low HP and are trying to save someone in
Fel Bonds

-Use Aspect of the Turtle if you're trapping in Fel Bonds and are wanting to
run out without any assistance.
