Transcript/attendance reflection

When I view my transcripts and attendance from the last four years I know that I was

able to do better. A lot of things happened to me during high school that affected my

performance as well as my attendance. They do not represent who I am as a person. I am capable

of way more than what I showed during my high school career and I am ready to show that as I

step into the workforce.

My transcripts show little of what I am actually able to do with myself. My grades do not

define who I am as a person. The family problems that I dealt with were a big distraction for me.

I had a hard time concentrating and that is the reason why my grades were bad. I left to Yosemite

high school and continued to work on my grades there. I transferred back to Merced high the

middle of my senior year. I feel as if I have improved drastically from where I used to be. My

grades are good now and I am going to be graduating in less than 3 weeks.

Looking back on my attendance I feel as if I did not miss too much school and that it was

not a reason why my grades were what they were. I only missed school when it was necessary. I

did not miss school just because I wanted to. My attendance does show that I take things

seriously because I show up.
