    Overview of the lesson:


    Visuals are clear and learning is sequenced e.g. focusing on the sound them a
    variety of words with the sound in. followed by identifying the words that have
    the sound in.
    Dealing with behavior quickly- Mansour
    Rewarding children
    The children were well behaved.
    You got them back to the carpet to show their work and review the letter.

    Areas for development:


    Check IT equipment is working before the lesson.
    Ask children what they know before showing them the items that have sh in. do
    they know which words have the sound in?
    Check the planning sheet as the learning centers are for activities after haleka as
    you have put haleka activities in the learning center section. Keep haleka short
    and get children engaged in activities as soon as possible.
    Plan for various activities that support the LO e.g. identifying words with the
    sound in, drawing their own pictures of words with the sound, word building etc
    rather than an activity that the whole class does at the same time- encourage
    children to be independent and to make choices. The one activity was very
    teacher led. Allow more exploration from the children. This could have been one
    of the activities but others are needed.
    Try to use more expression and intonation In your voice
    Make sure all children have the resources they need as one buy didnt have any
    paper, which the helper got for him later.
    Let the children cut out the sun as they are the ones who need to practice this
    skill (model for them)- actually the scissors were not good, they need proper
