Practicum Cooperative Games Unit Plan
5th Grade
Quiz 25%- Students will complete a 10-question character quiz based on the cooperative
activities unit. A pre-test will be given to give the students an idea of what the goal of the unit is
and post-test will be given to show student growth and what they learned from the unit.
Effort 25%- Student shows consistent effort and participation throughout the class while taking
part in the variety of different cooperative games activities.
Teamwork 50%- Students show respect for each other when working together to accomplish
activities. Students allow for help if needed and will ask for help if needed during all cooperative
games activities.
4-Succeding: Student is always taking part in activities, always being active and always being
respectful.
3-Achieving: Student is doing well and rarely is not taking part in activities or not being
respectful.
2-Developing: Student shows that they can be a constant participant and be respectful to
classmates but is inconsistent at this and needs improvement.
1-Beginning: Student is constantly trying to avoid participation and is being disrespectful to

Formative Assessment
Students will be evaluated by how much they participate and how much effort they have during
cooperative games activities each day. They will be graded on the numbering system 4 through1.
