 Architectural Style Research
I believe this style of the house is
Romanesque. There are many semi-
circular arches and small buttresses,
which are two dominating
characteristics of that style. There are
also small arcades at the top of the
building.
 Concept Statement
For the Stark residence there will be a lot of flow to
the inside layout. Because of the modern style
preference there will be a lot of unique shapes when
it comes to the furniture and accent pieces. The
color schemes will be a grand mixture of the white
and gray of the Scandinavian style preference with
the brightly color accents of the Modern style.
Abstract accessory pieces will fill the home to liven
up the simplistic, laid back atmosphere of the Stark
home.
 Color Palette
Since the design style is a mixture
of Scandinavian and modern the
color palette will be a happy
mixture of both. Scandinavian
color palettes typically stay with
whites and grays, very bland not so
exciting colors. Modern on the
other hand is very bright, vibrant,
playful colors. The color palette is
a split-complimentary where the
gray as well as white (not shown
on palette) will be used in the
ceiling, trim, and most walls and
the colors will be exaggerated in
the use of accessory pieces and
fabrics.
