unit/page: Cooperation
(Helping Others) How do we
help animals?

MST: Allison School: AlQimma

Class: Grade 4 Date: March 16, 2017

Overall aim and context of the lesson

The context of the lesson is providing different ways

.to protect an endangered animal

.4LW3 identify endangered species and analyze the importance of animal preservation

Choose two aspects from the competency areas to evaluate and discuss
(one paragraph each) according to following:

1 Discuss one aspect that you feel you did very well. Try to
analyse why you think it worked well and what hints you would
share with other teachers about the successful strategy/
resource/activity/management style etc.

Positive aspect of the lesson:

I think I did well of management classroom because I remembered the

students as I do in each class about the rule which is raise your hand to
take a permission from me. I remind them before any lesson to make sure
they remember and try to avoid who will break the rule of the classroom.
I demonstrated the rule visually to point in it if the students forget it and
begin to break the rule.
I think I explained the endangered animals well because I give several
examples of them and I added extra information about the endangered
animal which that the main endangered animal that I did the activities
depends on it.

2. Elaborate on the aspect identified by you that requires attention.

Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred and what action you intend to
take to be more successful in the next lesson.
Requires Attention:

I would explain more about the specific endangered animal in easy ways
to make sure that the students understand the big picture of that animal.
That's because some of the students didn't complete the mind map which
is explain the main information about the specific endangered animal.

3. Outline the personal focus and goal of the next lesson.

Personal focus for the next lesson:

I would write some notes before any lesson to remember any details
and to avoid missing any information in the lesson that must the
students learn it.
