America, 2017 Reflection

In my English class, we were assigned a poetry project with an open-

ended theme. After reading lots of poetry in class, I realized that the
majority of poetry is about life, death, love or some combination thereof. I
decided to use my creativity skills to be different, and chose to write mine in
a Mel Brooks-style unbiased political satire format. The difference being
that I tried to make fun of everyone instead of no one. This represents
Creativity because I created a more-or-less unique product by myself in an
artistic manner that pleased readers of all political leanings and earned me
a good grade. In the future, I plan to improve my creativity by stepping out
of my comfort zone and thinking outside of the box more often to solve my
problems.
