type of liquor. For this reason, less expensive vodka will have some flavor and may be a
bit harsh. Expensive vodka will be smooth and have little taste. And the basic

95% ethanol, then diluted to 70-80 proof for distribution. If the product is not
distilled to this high proof, then it is not technically considered vodka.
