Candidates are invited to provide written essays detailing their beliefs and positions.

The Citizen is in a precarious position in presenting candidate interviews and trying to remain unbiased.

We believe any viable publication should refrain from endorsing any candidate over the other until after the Primary. We do
not want to show bias in any way, but we will publish opinions and commentaries as submitted.

Friends,

We only have 8 days until the Republican Primary on July 20th, and advanced voting starts today. Our momentum
continues to grow, as people across the State are embracing my 3-D Energy Plan for Georgia- Diversify, Develop, and
Deliver, and remembering to Vote May in July for PSC. Because of our strong grassroots support, we have been
represented at TEA Parties, 912 Projects, and GOP meetings and events in every corner of the State. Signs are popping
up everywhere from Ellijay to Thomasville, and from Bremen to Augusta. Supporters are contacting us from across the
state reaching out to help us get our message out. Now more then ever I need your help to make sure that Georgia
citizens have an experienced, conservative Public Service Commissioner.

Our List of Endorsements Grows Daily

Georgia Right to Life, The Gwinnett Forum, and the State House Leadership team are just a few of the many
endorsements I am proud to have received. To view a full list of my endorsements please click here. While I am proud to
have these distinguished endorsements for my campaign, the endorsement that I would be most honored to have is yours
when you Vote May in July for PSC and elect me as your next Public Service Commissioner for Georgia.

Help our Campaign by Joining the 10-4 Program

The 10-4 program is an easy way for you to volunteer to help our campaign. By taking part in the program, you make 10
(or more) phone calls or send 10 emails for our campaign, and ask each of those contacts to call or email 4 more
people asking them to Vote May in July for PSC. The campaign can supply you with a script and telephone numbers for
you and your friends to call if you wish. If you are interested in helping, please contact Jay Brimberry at

New tax laws coming to a working family near you

Here is a little something for all the small businesses and tax-PAYERS to digest now that Congress is coming back in
session, and the elections are upon us. Read carefully and you'll understand why this will economically cripple working
families.

Title IX Revenue Provisions

Subtitle A: Revenue Offset (Sec. 9002)

Requires employers to include in the W-2 form of each employee the aggregate cost of applicable employer-
sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from the employee's gross income (excluding the value of
contributions to flexible spending arrangements)."
Starting in 2011-next year-the W-2 tax form sent by your employer will be increased to show the value of whatever
health insurance you are provided. It doesn't matter if you're retired. Your gross income WILL go up by the amount of
insurance your employer paid for. So you'll be required to pay taxes on a larger sum of money that you actually received.
Take the tax form you just finished for 2009 and see what $15,000.00 or $20,000.00 additional gross income does to
your tax debt. That's what you'll pay next year. For many it puts you into a much higher bracket. This is how the
government is going to buy insurance for fifteen (15) percent that don't have insurance and it's only part of the tax
increases, but it's not really a "tax increase" as such, it a redefinition of your taxable income. Also, go to Kiplinger's and
read about the thirteen (13) tax changes for 2010 that could affect you.

Why am I sending you this? The same reason I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book.
People have the right to know the truth because an election is coming in November. So vote intelligently, based on
your values. But also adjust your tax withholding, or increase your savings, so that you aren't surprised and put in a jam
when your federal income taxes are due on April 15, 2012.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Four More "Tea Parties" Endorse Candidate for Governor

(Atlanta - 12 July 2010) Joining the growing number of tea partiers who are already supporting Republican candidate
Ray McBerry in the race for governor of Georgia, four more county tea parties have signed on to endorsing McBerry as
the only constitutionalist in the race. The newest Tea Parties to endorse Ray McBerry for Governor are Hall, Dade,
Gordon, and Walker Counties; and all four represent strong Republican counties in the upcoming primary election on July
20th.

Earlier in the week, the State of Georgia Tea Party also endorsed Ray McBerry in the governor's race.

When asked for his comment about these new endorsements, Ray McBerry responded, "It is impossible to over-
emphasize the significance of Tea Party support in the current political climate. The fact that many of the tea party folks
across the state are supporting me in the governor's race has provided a huge boost for our Campaign going down the
stretch. In fact, tea party supporters are a big reason that my Campaign has put together the largest campaign
organization in the governor's race. Most people are familiar with how the Tea Party has been affecting the outcome of
elections all across America this year; and we are expecting the same thing here. The big-name polling firms who are
supportive of the establishment GOP candidates over constitutionalists like myself have even admitted that they do not
know how to quantify this huge number of voters which will be flooding the GOP primary on July 20th. I am very
honoured to have so much support among the Tea Parties in Georgia."

Many being frustrated with the inability of the political and industrial leaders of
the day began turning to new forms of political and economic organizations for
help. The Grange, which originally formed as a social organization, is
transformed into a center for political and economic action on behalf of farmers.

for politicians and journalists. The mood of discontent and dissatisfaction with the status quo produces an
upset in the November elections.

The Democrats, who two years previously were practically discounted as a

political force, win a majority of the seats in the House of Representatives.

In the South, Reconstruction is ending, sometimes violently. The Republican

state governments struggling for survival are replaced by Democrats who at
times physically battle the "carpetbaggers" to gain possession of the offices they
win through the elective process. This process is left increasingly in the hands of
the local white elements as the Federal Government reduces its interference in
Southern political activity.

So one can see that in the past we have been over similar roads before.
Watching the political climate today you can see where the cycle is repeating
itself again.

Debbie Dooley is not "the tea party"

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you for taking five or six short minutes and reading my letter - now an "open letter" to Debbie Dooley of
Freedom Works and the Atlanta Tea Party organization. Apparently an associate of Mrs. Dooley's printed up yet another
in a long line of biased and dishonest op-ed piece for an online website, where candidate for Governor Ray McBerry is
once again the object of anger and bitterness. Mr. McBerry stated truthfully at the NorthGeorgia912 Rapid Fire Debate
that he was the "Tea Party" candidate for Governor. This statement was met with resentment and bitterness from the
self-appointed "Queen" of the RINO wing of the tea party movement, Mrs. Debbie Dooley. Once again, Mrs. Dooley
chose to ask how anyone could say they were a "tea party" candidate, without the express consent of Tea Party Patriots
or FreedomWorks. Mrs. Dooley is a high-ranking activist in both groups, and as I've told you before in this blog, she has
taken it upon herself to lash out at any tea party group who does not come under the protective wing of the Atlanta Tea
Party, Tea Party Patriots or FreedomWorks. Reminds me of a gangster making sure they are understood by the shop
owner when the protection money is due.

At any rate, with Mrs. Dooley at it again (This is not the first time she has declared another tea party to be illegitimate)
I decided to weigh in. As most of you who will read this know, the "tea party movement" began as a grass-roots
movement after a single man's rant on the floor of the Stock Exchange. It spread across America, totally on it's own
merit - as towns large and small - from one red-light farming communities to big cities like Atlanta, Chicago and
Pittsburg joined together to send a message to the politicians in Washington that Americans had had ENOUGH.
As you know, the movement has done nothing but grow, doubling and tripling in size every few months. Some in
political circles saw this as a great thing for America. Others in politics saw it as a great thing for THEMSELVES.

Enter FreedomWorks, Atlanta Tea Party, and others:

Now, in July of 2010 a disturbing new trend is showing up as moderate Republicans begin to be the "tea party"
candidates that the real grassroots tea party folks would never vote for....and LLC's and major national organizations
( and their spokespeople like Mrs. Dooley) begin to tighten the noose on grassroots tea party activism, and declare any
group that calls itself a tea party to be illegitimate, unless under the wing of one or more of the big, politics-as-usual
activist groups. I think that most tea party members had thoughts of and discussed the movement tearing itself apart
over differences of opinion about things like taxes or spending. I doubt anyone could have dreamed that the grassroots
tea party movement would face it's biggest attack from the GOP, and groups that are virtual arms of that political party.

Well, except perhaps for me - and undoubtedly a few others like me, who were greeted with apathy and disdain upon
asking for local GOP members' help with the very first tea party's that took place on April 15th, 2009. In my county -
Hall County, Georgia - my speech announcing that original tea party got a very nice round of applause...but afterwards,
not a soul offered to help and in the end, not one GOP member did help. Not one finger was lifted. Not one flier passed
out. Not one prominent local Republican wanted anything to do with this new "tea party thing."

So, without further delay, I would ask you to read below my reply to Mrs. Dooley and the author of the dishonest article
written to once again try to cover one candidate in the filth that is GOP slung mud. If you read it and have any
questions, it may be helpful to read the two previous articles as well. They explain much about what is going on in
Georgia today....and they lay the foundation for what real grassroots tea party activist must do in the very near future
to combat the hi-jacking of our movement by organizations that are less inclined to support liberty than their own
pocket-books and membership rolls.

My letter is as follows:

As a founding "Leader" of the tea party movement in Hall County on April 15th, 2009 (and I have the photos and
newspaper articles to back it up...) I find the lack of respect Mrs. Dooley, FreedomWorks GA and the Atlanta Tea Party
have shown to the voters of this state to be laughable at best, and down right embarrassing at worst.

Mrs. Dooley's response here is the same insulting reply she always gives when the facts are not in her favor. There are
never any debates over the issues - not the political issues of our time, because no moderate Republican can go toe-to-
toe with Mr. McBerry, and not the issues of her claims to be the final authority on who is and who is not "the tea party."

I spoke with Mrs. Dooley over a year ago about advancing the cause of Liberty in Hall county through FreedomWorks, or
whatever other way was possible and I came away from that initial conversation with the impression that Mrs. Dooley
was more "in it" for herself than the new conservative movement. I declined to take her up on the offer to be the leader
of FreedomWorks in Hall County and instead joined with NorthGeorgia912, where I found real grassroots involvement,
patriots dedicated to the Cause of Liberty, and none of the strings that are so often attached to nationally funded
organizations. I was looking for a group of people who were honest, value-driven; dedicated to stopping socialism
where ever it reared it's ugly head. I wasn't looking for a Tea Party Queen or a Tea Party Dictator. I have serious doubts
that the good people of Georgia were looking for anyone that fit that description, either.
If the people of Georgia would like to hear snide remarks, intellectually dishonest discourse, little substance and
"leadership" that consists more of puffing up one's own chest than real accomplishments they can turn on any network
and listen to the President speak. We don't need THAT kind of "patriotism" here in Georgia, and we surely don't need it
from anyone claiming that their group - and their group alone is "the" tea party. Politics as usual, nationally funded
operations, and rubbing elbows with career politicians doesn't qualify anyone to tell another patriotic American that
their organization is not a "real" tea party.

What Mrs. Dooley is doing is splitting the tea party minded voters of Georgia into two camps. Those that take orders
like good little sheep, and those that know that the future of Liberty does not rest in the hands of RINO Republicans or
Socialist Democrats, but in the hands of We the People.

In closing, Mrs. Dooley is either trying to advance her own activist career and ties to the Republican party - or she's just
in a constant tizzy over the shortcomings of her hair dresser. Either way, Mrs. Dooley....the true grassroots tea party
members who don't subscribe to the idea that the only way is the GOP way aren't going away. We're getting
stronger....and we don't need the approval of Tea Party Patriots, FreedomWorks GA, FreedomWorks National, or the
RINO's in the GOP to tell us who the real patriots are, and who the political hacks are......I think we've already got that
pretty well figured out. So, Mrs. Dooley - if you don't mind...you can take this to the bank...

I AM A TEA PARTY LEADER, AND YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME OR THE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF OTHER GRASSROOTS
TEA PARTY MINDED ACTIVISTS THAT REFUSE TO BE ORDERED AROUND LIKE SHEEP.

Henry GOP News

Greetings!

The Republican Primary election, July 20th, is only a week away. As of last Friday, July 9, 2010, less than 1% of
the total registered voters in Henry County had cast their ballot in early voting. Please take the time to contact your
family members, friends, co-workers, etc. and remind them to vote in the Republican Primary next Tuesday, July 20,
2010. The runoff election, if necessary, will be held on August 10, 2010. After the primary election and or subsequent
runoff election, we stand united behind our Republican nominees. These candidates will be the Republican nominees on
the November 2, 2010 General Election ballot. There still exists a great deal of work and we need everyone to assist in
this effort. Any assistance you can offer will be a tremendous boost to the party and our candidates. Do not under
estimate the gravity of this election. We have a chance to make a difference in our country, state, and our county.
Among the many opportunities that we have is to take back control of the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.
We can help make this happen by assisting our eventual Republican nominee in the Thirteenth District, which represents
part of Henry County, in defeating Congressman Scott next November. We need a "laser" focused effort across the
United States in electing conservatives. Of course, the target number needed is 218 Republicans elected to take control
of the House of Representatives. Together, we can make it happen!

We remain in need of volunteers to assist with the Henry GOP Headquarters. Please contact me if you are available to
volunteer. Additionally, we need financial support to continue to keep our doors open. In our current economic climate,
raising funds for the party has become very difficult. Any amount that you can give will help us pave the way in electing
conservatives across Henry County.

The upcoming monthly business meeting, August 3, 2010, will feature Third Congressional District Congressman
Lynn Westmoreland as our guest speaker. Our meeting begins at 7:00 PM and will convene at the Board of
Commissioners Administration Building.

Please make plans to attend and invite a guest. This is a great opportunity to hear from Congressman Westmoreland.
In closing, if there is anything that I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Warmest Regards,

Mike Eddy
