Course Description
This training offers effective strategies that can be used to build academic vocabulary skills for students in an authentic
and engaging way. Participants will learn how to teach core content vocabulary, how to help students naviage the
academic language found in text books and on tests, and how to help students become independent learners of new
vocabulary.
