Assessment for Learning:

- To make sure that all the students have understand the concept of
measurement three main things the teacher should do. Firstly, ask the
students some question related to the concept to know if the student
recognize and know the difference of measurement of (Tall & Short).
Secondly, the teacher uses the checklist to take notes of each student to
know what each student need to learn of this concept. Thirdly, let all the
students do all the activities even if it is easy for some of them to challenge
them by make them thinks and solve problems.
General Comments

- The students are having different level of understanding, so the teacher should
have number of activities at different level of difficulties to make the students
understand the concept from at least one of these activities.

Recommendations / Future personal targets / Areas of focus

Future personal targets:

Managing time through the activity by giving an appropriate time for
each activity to make the students understand the concept, get the
benefits from the lessons, and enjoy doing the activities.
Areas of focus:
Getting students control.

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze
why you think it worked well and what hints you would share with other teachers
about the successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

The aspect that has been done well, was using an enjoyable material in the
activities to helps the student to understand the lesson for example, bringing the
food materials for the activity to make the students understand, know the difference
between taller and shorter by discussing the difference of the length between
marshmallow and biscuit sticks and then eat it. There are two main benefits from
using this strategy, which are make the students understood the lesson, achieve the
learning objectives of this lesson. The main things help in knowing the level of
understanding of the student in the lesson was use the checklist to write a note next
to each name of the student when they are doing the activities. The used
strategies are interduce the lesson by using fun materials that help the students to
understand the lesson. Give the students different materials such as pencil, ruler,
eraser and any materials to let the students to see how is tall, taller, short, and
shorter

Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention.

Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred and what action you intend to
take to be more successful in the next lesson.
The aspect that requires attention, in managing the students, was all the stuff
was available for teaching the lesson and the kids understood the lesson but the
main problem faced was taking long time to make the students sit properly and be
quiet, which make the lesson was so long. When I teach the measurement lesson its
my second time and because of that I dont have experience and strategies to
manage the students behavior that its why that let me feel confusion because some
of the students even when I tell them sit appropriately he didnt listen and that let
me feel angry but I dont want to shout at the students then I told my MST to treat
with them because I feel I cant manage the students in this time.

Personal focus for next lesson, focus more in managing students behavior and
use strategies that work with the students to keep the times to focus with low level
students and to do what I planned for the lesson, also use transition to save a time
and make a lesson on fun educational way.
