There are three activities in this experiment.

The first activity is to find

the effect of amplitude on the period, Second is the effect of the mass
of the bob on the period, and the effect of the length of the pendulum
on the period. The materials used in this experiment are protractor,
string, pendulum bobs with different weight, stopwatch and a meter
stick.

The first activity is the effect of the amplitude on the period. There
were 3 trials and each trial has different amplitude. The first trial has
an amplitude of 5, the second has 10 and the third trial has an
amplitude of 15. A pendulum bob was suspended to a meter stick
using an 80 cm string. At each trial the time was recorded.

The second activity is the effect of mass of the bob on the period. This
time, three pendulum bob with different mass is used. The length of
the pendulum is still at 80cm and the amplitude for the three trials is
10. The time to complete 20 vibrations is recorded.

Lastly, the third activity is the effect of length of the pendulum on the
period. Four trials is done in this activity and at each trial different
length of pendulum is done by the experimenters. First trial has a
length of 80 cm, second has 60 cm, third has 40 cm and the fourth has
a length of 20 cm. In this activity the acceleration due to gravity is
computed and the percentage error of each trial.
