PDF Mass Printing From SAP - Requirements and Manual
Purpose
With some recently delivered functionality using PDF forms, there are challenges to mass print the
forms. The forms are not concatenated within the printing process.
This issue is solved through certain versions and levels of programs as described below.
NOTE: This manual is presuming you already have SAP GUI 7.20, but patch level 0.
In case you still have SAP GUI 7.10, please get in touch with your ADP contact person.
1. Close all active SAP Screens and SAPGUI Logon Pad and any other Application active in your
computer.
2. Go to the CD you received and locate SAPGUI 720 Patch 7 Installation File: gui720_7-10007878.exe
3. Copy SAPGUI 720 Patch 7 Installation File to your Local drive - which will be Normally ( C:\
drive)
3. Make sure your hard disk (assuming C:\ is the disk for installing the GUI software) has 300
to 400MB free for installing the SAP GUI Patch.
7. The following screen will be displayed once the patch install is ready to start. Now click "Next" to
continue with Installation Process.
8. The installation starts and displays the following progress screen
9. Below screen appears once Patch Installation is successfully completed - You can now - click on
"Close" button to end Installation Process.
11. To check the updated SAPGUI720 patch, you can follow the steps shown in below screen shots.
SAP PDF Print, Version 4
SAP PDF Print is a SAP GUI complement, and most likely has to be implemented for most users
additionally, as they would not have it from before.
NOTE: any issues with installing the program can lead to the SAP GUI not working any more.
So please follow the installation instructions carefully:
- Close all other applications while installing any program
- Re-start your PC after installation of SAP GUI as well as after the installation of SAP PDF
Print.
If an error has occurred, please de-install and reinstall both SAP PDF Print and SAP GUI.
Installation Steps:
1. Close all active SAP Screens and SAPGUI Logon Pad and any other Application active in your

8. In the below Screen you need to Select - SAP PDFPRINT as shown in the next screen.

Close" button to end Installation Process.
Within SAP, it is necessary to use a printer with access method G and device type PDF1.
