Night Air

Soggy shoes and soggy socks,

Splashing cars and gentle hums;
The street lamp's glow lights my path,
And the night air guides me on.

Foggy breath and foggy air,

Looming trees and pleasant mist;
The dim sky is crying now,
And the night air guides me on.

Groggy mind and groggy soul,

Blaring horn and peaceful heart;
The screeching tires try to stop,
But the night air guides me on.
