I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Davis Lee. I have had the pleasure of working with Mr.
Lee the past three years at Federal Heights Elementary School, where he has worked as a fifth grade educator.
Davis positive attitude, work ethic and willingness to collaborate amongst his colleagues has made him a
positive staff member at FHE. He works hard at reaching out to the diverse student population of Federal
Heights Elementary School and is always willing to learn from staff members.

Mr. Lee has made great strides as an educator the past three years at FHE and continues to develop and refine
his instruction to meet the needs of his students. During the several conversations I have had with Davis and
observations I performed of his class, I witnessed student engagement, learning and development at all levels.
The dedication Mr. Lee has to his profession is very evident in the quality of work his students create year
after year; as well as, the collaborative ties he has made with his colleagues during professional development
sessions.

Mr. Lee has also been very instrumental in providing positive leadership at Federal Heights. He is, or has been,
a member of various leadership positions including: ILT (Instructional Leadership Team), Literacy Lead Team
and GLC member (Grade Level Chair). He is always willing to take the lead on grade level projects and is not
afraid to be the voice for his students and colleagues. His passion for learning and growing as a leader has
been very apparent at FHE. His dedication to the students and school over the past three years is commendable.

Davis has conveyed his need for continuing to be a life-long learner while at Federal Heights Elementary
School. He continues to enhance his lesson development and refine his teaching by continuing to use standards-
based instruction, DDI (Data-driven Instruction) and sheltered observation protocol instruction as the
foundation for his unit and lesson plans. Mr. Lee is a hard working educator. His strong work ethic,
constructive attitude and leadership skills, will add to the collegial atmosphere of your organization. He is an
outstanding educator who will be greatly missed by the students, staff and community of Federal Heights
