A Tour to Lake Toba

Last year my family joined a Lake Toba Tour. It was a trip held by PT Cahaya Bintang
Tour and Travel.
At first day, our troops arrived at Medan. We stayed in a hotel to take a rest. At eleven
oclock the trip began, we travelled to Prapat by coach bus. To reach the place we
transferred via plantation road. The scene was so beautiful that the four hour of journey
was not boring. Finally we boated to the Beach Hotel to spend the night.
In the second day, our troops cruised to Ambarita to see a stone chair. Then, continued
to Tomok to see the Tombs of Sidabutar King. In the evening we had dinner at hotel and
followed Batak Toba Folksong.
In the third day, the troops saw the long house of Batak Simalungun King. After that
we visited Gundaling Hill and Fruit Market. We bought markisa juice, the popular drink of
Toba. At seven we had dinner at hotel then we went back to Medan.

One day, in a beautiful summer morning, when Rox was drinking at the side of the river, he
saw a little rabbit in danger. A snake came sneaking behind the little rabbit. The snake was going
to eat him. Rox jumped over the snake as soon as possible and scared him away.
The little rabbit then felt relieved that Rox just saved his life from the threat of the
dangerous snake. After that, he told the whole jungle that Rox was a kind fox. He just saved his
life. There was no need to be afraid of him anymore.

Natural Bridge National Park

Natural Bridge National Park is luscious tropical rainforest.

It is located 110 kilometers south of Brisbane and is reached by following the Pacific
Highway to Nerang and then by traveling through the Numimbah Valley. This scenic roadway
lies in the shadow of the Lamington National Park.
The phenomenon of the rock formed into a natural arch and the cave through which a
waterfall cascades is a short one-kilometer walk below a dense rainforest canopy from the main
picnic area. Swimming is permitted in the rock pools. Night-time visitors to the cave will
discover the unique feature of the glow worms.
Picnic areas offer toilets, barbeque, shelter sheds, water and fireplaces; however,
overnight camping is not permitted.

How To Make A Photo Mug

Main supplies
A Mug
A paper towel
20 gauge plastic coated wire
Styrofoam
Moss
Plastic serrated knife
Photos, cards, etc.
Pony Beads
Glue
Basic Supplies:
Scissors
Pencil
Permanent markers
Wire cutters
Cutter
Instructions:
1. Wipe the mug with a paper towel. Draw desired design with the markers. Wait for 10
minutes to let it dry.
2. Place the Styrofoam in the mug. Cover the top with the moss. Use a little glue to secure
the moss in place.
3. Cut pieces of wire from 6-18 inches long. Wrap wire around your finger 3 times. Add
some pony beads if you like. Remove from finger. Insert it to the Styrofoam in the mug.
Repeat with 5-7 additional wires to make a bouquet in the mug. Vary the height of the
wires.
4. Insert photos, cards, etc. in wire holders.

She said that the devil had stolen her magic candle. The candle could grant anything
she asked. The wanderer asked her where the devil lived. In a castle not far from
here, said the old woman.
The wanderer went to the castle. There he found the devil. But he was old
and weak. Therefore, when the wanderer grabbed the magic candles from the devils
table and ran away, he couldnt chase him. But the wanderer was not a kind man. He
didnt return the candle to the old woman, but kept it for himself. He lit the candle
and made a wish I want to go far away from here. Suddenly, the genies appeared
and took him a beautiful palace. There was a party in the palace. The wanderer
wanted to make some money. So he lit the candle again and wished for some
jewellery. He sold them to the guests and was soon making a lot of money. Then the
princess came to buy the jewellery, but there was nothing left. The wanderer fell in
love with her and asked her to marry him. The kind princess said yes, and they got
married the next day. In his happiness, the wanderer told the princess about his
adventure and the magic candle. Hearing that, the princess got very angry. At night
she lit the candle and wished that the wanderer disappeared.
In the morning, the wanderer awoke and found himself back in his ugly
house in the village.
