General Notes:

RCC:
1. Reinforced concrete grade: Mixing proportion = 1:1.5:3;
Coarse Aggregate = 20mm down well graded stone chips;
Fine Aggregate = Sylhet sand of F.M 2.5(min) or equvalent
coarse sand of F.M 2.2(min) for all R.C.C work to be used.
Minimum Characteristic strength of work cylinder at 28
days = 25 MPa.
2. Grade of rebar shall be deformed bar of Fy 415 MPa.
3. Clear cover for:
Column : 40 mm
Coping : 25 mm
Pile, pile cap, short column & GB : 75 mm
4. Recommended slum for :
Column, GB & coping : 75 - 100 mm
Pile work : 150-200 mm
5. Plaster Work:
Plaster mixing proportion = 1:4
Minimum plaster thickness for:
Column, coping : 6mm
Brick work : 12mm
6. The top of grade beam should be matched with the top of grade beam of existin
g boundary wall at north side.
7. Maximum centre to centre spacing of columns is 2500mm.
8. 25 mm Expansion gap shall be provided at 30m interval
by double column with 900 X 500 X 600 Pile cap.
9. Gravitational retaining wall shall be provided 20 mm below the Grade beam of
Boundary wall and should remain 20mm clear off the columns on either side. This
20mm gap may be filled with cork sheet.
10. Weep holes of 75mm X 75mm size should be provided on the retaining walls 350
mm above EGL & 500 mm from either columns (as shown in the drawing) for all the
sections. In addition, another weep hole 750mm from the top of retaining wall sh
ould be provided @ 2.5m c/c for section-1 & 2. Necessary protection/grating sho
uld be provided to prevent passage of soil through the weep holes.
11. The centre lines of 250mm brick work, columns, grade beam, pile caps & pile
should coinside. The outside of gravitational retaining wall should be flashed w
ith the outside of 250mm brick wall.
12. All dimension are in mm where not stated.

03. MASS CONCRETE IN FOUNDATION OR FLOOR : MIX RATIO 1:3:6 WITH CEMENT, LOCAL S
AND OF F.M. =1.2 AS FINE
AGGREGATES AND 20MM DOWN WELL GRADED PICKED JHAMA
BRICK CHIPS AS COARSE AGGREGATES TO BE USED FOR ALL
CEMENT CONCRETE WORK.
