Graphic Design allows a person to communicate visually and allows a person to

express themselves through their designs. Through Graphic Design an artist can express

themselves, and showcase their skills all while complete their work quota. A Graphic Designer is

someone who create visual concepts, either by using a software on a computer of doing it by

hand to express ideas. Ideas that could inform, inspire, and catch the eyes of the common

consumer. A Graphic Designer's job is develop an overall layout and design for advertisements,

brochures, companies, and numerous businesses. Graphic Design is important in marketing and

advertising, it is also an important factor in selling products. More often than not Graphic

Designers work closely with people who work in advertising and promotions, public relations,

and marketing.

Graphic Design allows an artist to communicate an idea visually through their art and

designs. Graphic Design gives a artist a way to communicate the moods and feelings you have

for the company or organization that you work for. You can do this by using photos, the color

you use in your designs, and the the design is spaced out to give a pleasing look. With your

designs you can showcase your skills while providing a design for your company, organization,

and product. To communicate visually is the process that combines the visual arts and technology

to communicate ideas. The process begins with a single message or multiple messages, then in

the hands of a talented artist or designer, the message or messages can be turned into visual

communication that can go above simple words and pictures. With controlling the type,

movement, images, symbols, and the color, the artist or designer controls all of these in order to

inform, educate, persuade, and entertain the target audience that the artists or designers

company, organization, or product is looking for (University of Notre Dame, Department of Art,

Art History & Design). How can one communicate visually with graphic design is by drawing

the design by hand this can be a lot more cruder if you dont have a good control on your

(meaning an artists or designers hand doesn't shake a lot so that they dont have to worry about

their hand messing up their lines or the design in general) or you can communicate visually with

a Graphic Design Software an artist can get online or have one provided by their employers.

Such Software include: Serif DrawPlus, CorelDraw Home & Student Suite, Corel PaintShop Pro,

Adobe Photoshop Elements, Xara, Serif PhotoPlus, ACDSee Photo Editor, Corel PhotoImpact,

and CyberLink PhotoDirector (Rebecca Spear, The Best Graphic Design Software of 2017).

Graphic Designers work with anything visual so a Graphic Designer is someone who can take an

idea or ideas from a their company or a client if they are free-lance and turn that idea into a

visual form so that the target audience or the just people in general can understand the idea the

company and the designer is trying to convey. The artist or designer may use any combination of

imagery, symbols, typography, color, materials, and video to compose the idea into one grand

message that the every person can understand what the message the creator is trying to convey to

Graphic Design allows a person to express themselves through their designs. To express

oneself is to show how of how an artist or designer they feel about a certain idea or topic, on

what they think about the ideas or topics. They call do all of this while completing their work

quota that they have to complete either for the week, month, or year. A way to a graphic designer

can express themselves is by developing their own unique style, this does not mean that they

have to all draw differently from one another (although that is one way to express oneself= by

having a different drawing style) but by using different fonts, different colors, and using different

shapes. Graphic Design is a form of self-expression. It wont take much by time and dedication

in order to hone your skills and your creative potential (Express yourself using Graphic

to express themselves through their designs that have to do for their work, they should keep in

mind that sometimes the company, organization or the client that they are working for wants

something to be done in a certain way, leaving little to no room for expressing themselves if that

expression interferes with the design, if not then the artist or designer is free to do what they

wish to complete their work quota.

In Conclusion, Graphic Design allows a person to a person to communicate an idea

through their art and designs, to convey an idea or message that the company wants to be

conveyed. Graphic Design allows a person to be expressive with their art and designs, being

expressive dosent mean to have a different art style, but could mean to have a different method

of doing things, to not fall into a monotonous routine. Graphic Design allow a artist or designer

to show how they feel about the certain idea or message. Although a Graphic Designer should be

careful, although Graphic Design allows a person to be expressive through their art, the company

or client may what something done in a certain way and not allowing one express themselves. If

one wants to go into Graphic Design they should be ready to work hard and continuously. One

can not afford to slack off. A person should also not work to rush through their classes, dont rush

through college just to finish your classes (Tomassetti, Dunia. Personal Interview. 29 March

2017). Graphic Design is a good job if one wants to showcase their skills, express themselves,

and if a person wants to get a certain idea or message across. If a person wants to get into

Graphic Design than they just have to work hard.
