Mexico Mission Trips- every year my youth group takes a spring trip and a summer trip
to stay at two different orphanages. The spring trip involves more construction and
beautification where we build houses and plant plants. Hence, during the summer trip we
play and engage with the orphanage children through games and crafts. We also prepare
different meals and put on carnivals for local less fortunate communities.
Toys for Tots & Coats for Kids- help needy families collect donated coats and toys for
their children and spouses during the holidays.
Provide medical aid to all participants in community runs and marathons through Athletic
Training (YMCA Run, Wine Vine Run)
Red Wagons Charity Project: delivered an ample amount of Christmas presents to
selected needy families around our community through Advanced Peer.
USAC Study Abroad (Torino, Italy): Participated in a cooking class to learn about the
Italian culture and cuisine.
Community for Healthy Centers: Interned at Community for Healthy Centers in the Fall
of 2016 and completed 90 hours. On Tuesdays, I would work at the production kitchen
doing pack-out meals for seniors and on Thursdays I would participate in Harvest of the
Month for different schools.
