What a diaper
By Lexi Vinick March 29 12:45 pm

COLLEGE PARK, Md.- A diapers protection saved a 10-month-old infant after two

armed robbers entered a home in the Riverview section of College Park just before 11:30

pm last night. The robbers, who were described as white 18-to-20-year-old men, fired

three shots during the robbery. No one was injured.

After the two men were gone Grace Ford, 20, said that it was close call especially since

the bullet was still lodged in the diaper.

The diapers were extra thick. There was about an inch left to the diaper that it didnt

pierce, Ford said.

Four people were in the house at the time including Ford, her younger sister, an infant

and Fords dog. The two sisters were at home and the infant was in her playpen when the

two men entered the home through the unlocked front door.

The robbers forced the sisters to collect their valuables throughout the house. The two

men collected an estimated total of $5,000 worth of jewelry and cash from the home.

The neighbors called the police as soon as they heard the commotion.

When I heard the shorts and the baby, I ran to the window, said the neighbor.

The neighbors saw the two men escape to a cemetery and leave in a car before they could

identify the color or model.

Police arrived shortly after the call and are currently still looking for the suspects.

The two suspects were said to be medium height and weight. One robber was reported to

be wearing a ski mask and jogging pants with University of Florida on the side of the leg.

The other was masked and wore a white shirt and baseball cap.
