Curriculum
Bible: We will be reflecting on Gods promises, how we have been imitators of
Christ, and how we have used the gifts God has given us to serve others.
Reading: We are reading a story called Music of the Stone Age. The students
will be using the text and their opinions to make judgments about what they
are reading.
Writing: We will continue our poetry unit focusing on feeling and rhyming
poems.
Vowac: This week we will review soft c and soft g.
Math: We will take a unit test on 2-D and 3-D shapes and begin learning about
measuring length and area.
Science: The students have learned what makes sound. They will be engineers
building a device they could use to communicate with someone a few seats away
from them on a noisy school bus.
