    The patient has no history of medication use, surgery, or disease. They report feeling discomfort when swallowing. An ultrasound of the carotid arteries was performed and showed: 1) No significant stenosis in any of the arteries of either side, with peak systolic velocities and end diastolic velocities within normal ranges. 2) The technical quality of the ultrasound was excellent and no plaques were seen. 3) Based on Doppler criteria, there were no stenosis over 50% detected.
