Seven crafters met at St. Andrew's Parish Hall on Thursday, April 6. We had a wreath maker, spinners,
quilters, and hand sewing - a "critter maker". We will be meeting on the first Thursday of the month
7:00 to 9:00 PM. We welcome all kinds of crafts, we will help you if we can, but are not offering
formal classes. Feel free to bring a snack, but its not necessary. Next meeting will be May 4. Call
Jeanne at 965-6419 for questions. We are free and open to the public - so come and bring friends.

On April 20, St. Andrew's held a class for the community on maintenance of iphones. Ben Orcutt, an Apple
technician, taught the class. He covered topics such as using contact lists, doing messages, using the camera and
tips for saving on data use. There were many "ah ha" moments as the participants learned something new about
their phone.
In May, Ben will return to teach a class on calligraphy. If you have a topic you would like to see covered or
would be willing to teach a class, call Jeanne at 965-6419. All classes are free and open to the public.

The food pantry is grateful for your continued support. Any items you can donate
are appreciated, and of course, monetary donations are always accepted. Right now,
chicken noodle soup is in short supply for some reason. Any canned items are useful, as
well as items like cereal and crackers. And as a reminder to the gardeners, plant a row or
two of fresh veggies for the pantry.
