In this chart you will include information about various historical events in Spanish-speaking countries around the world
and their significance to that country. You must write about 6 DIFFERENT historical events from 6 DIFFERENT Spanish-
speaking countries. The first event is already filled out for you, NO REPEATING!
Your descriptions may be written in English or Spanish (your choice), but everything else must be in Spanish.

of the events significance and/or importance to its country.
o Each description is at least 3 sentences long. (6 pts.)

GRAPHIC ORGANIZER 2 - Spanish-Speaking Countries The Indigenous Influence
In this chart you will include information about Indigenous groups from various Spanish-speaking countries and describe
their significance & contribution to that country. You must research and write about 7 DIFFERENT indigenous groups in
the Spanish-speaking world. The first group is already completed for you & the following two groups have been partially
completed for you.
Your descriptions may be written in English or Spanish (your choice), but everything else must be in Spanish.

speaking world:
1) Indigenous Mapping: Ethnic Communities From Latin America will allow you to find language, location, and
background info on various indigenous groups
2) Central and South American Empires focuses on the Aztec, Inca, and Maya civilizations
3) Encyclopedia Britannica useful map for mapping out the locations of each indigenous group
4) International Work Group of Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA) search by country, you can find brief summaries of
current affairs indigenous people face
