PERFORMANCE TASK:

The young writers association of the Philippines in partnership with PAASCU

launched an essay writing contest, Entitled: The new Jose Rizal of our
Generation they are looking for new member. You are one of the participants of
the contest so you have to choose write an essay the choices of the theme are
the FF:

A. About Mercy and compassion

B. About friendship
C. About love
The winning piece will be published on different news paper in our country
and the writer of the winning piece will be the new member of the young
writers association of the Philippines.

of heaven and decide who among them
has the traits of a real angel

What are angels?

Hook:
The teacher will show a picture of Angels
The students will give their perception
about the picture
Relate the ideas of students from the
picture to introduce the lesson

Explore: the plot of the story

Activity#2: Sine Moto

The class will be divided into two groups
Each group will portray The Prodigal
Son
The group with the highest score will be
given a reward

Wrap up: People are often unreasonable and

self-centered, Forgive them anyway. If you
are kind people may accuse you of ulterior
motives, be kind anyway. If you are
successful you will win some false friends and
some true enemies, succeed anyway. If you
are honest people may cheat you, be honest
anyway. What you spend years building
someone could destroy overnight, build
anyway. If you find serenity and happiness
they may be jealous, be happy anyway. The
good you do today people will often forget
tomorrow, do good anyway. Give the world
the best you have and it may never be
enough, give your best anyway. You see, in
the final analysis it is between you and your
God. It was never between you and them
anyway.
