To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Sharra Jones. I am currently a senior at Erwin High School. I am a very active
member in our community and society. I plan on succeeding in my academic goals, along with
my employment opportunities.

For my research paper I will argue that it is beneficial to be multilingual rather than only
speaking one language. I will prove that everyone should learn more than one language.

My project plan is to learn and enhance my ability to speak and understand languages. I would
strive to enhance my ability to speak sign language. By the end of my practical experience I will
be able to sign a social conversation including greeting, introductions, small talk, and farewells.

I have prior knowledge in learning Spanish, but not sign language. I have met customers at work
who use sign language and I would like to be able to communicate with them.

My growth would benefit me as a person and understanding the challenges of learning new
things. I would also be able to experience different cultures, and how over time people have
come to understand each other.

Plagiarism is defined as taking credit for someone else's work. I believe you should do\
accomplish your own work and leave the other persons own ideas\ work alone. Its better to
have accomplished your work would then to have stolen it.

I really appreciate the time and effort that this committee has taken to overview and revise my
