Filling Orders
Some days, instead of simply weighting out product till it's gone, you will
only weigh out certain increments to fulfill the orders that we have for the
day.
The Packaging Manager will supply you with a sticky note that details the
specifics of your task. An example would be:
Cascade Herb: 40 1g Cotton Candy BHO
Satori North: 75 1g Cotton Candy BHO
Satori South: 100 1g Cotton Candy BHO
In this example, all the strains are the same. While this is typically the
scenario, sometimes you will have to swap out the product you are weighing
out to fit the order.

While filling these orders, the process is the same as when you normally
package products BUT you have a set number of units to package and how
you store the final product will be different. Instead of throwing all packaged
products in one large turkey bag, you will be storing in them individual bags.
These bags will labeled in a similar manner, but additional information is
required.
- Write down the name of the destination, strain name, the weight of
the unit, the count of units, and the lot number of the units (the last 4
digits of the barcode). See the reference photo for an example.
Once you are finished filling the order, bring the bag out into the hallway and
place it in a bin near the heat sealer machine. This is where in progress
orders are kept until someone gets a chance to heat seal them.
Concentrates (BHO)
Packaging concentrates is a fairly simple and straightforward process. The goal is to
have a clean, attractive looking product that has been accurately weighed out. For
concentrates, the margin of error is between 0g-.02g overweight.
-Being underweight is never acceptable.
Reference the attached pictures for an example on how the final product should
look.

1. First, thoroughly clean your work station. This is a very important step
as the FTPE paper is highly static and dust/particulates will aggressively cling to
the paper, thus making the packaging look less appealing. To do this, take some
paper towel and get a splash of isopropyl alcohol on it. Take the towel and wipe
down your work surface AND the scale. There should be no particulate left
when you are finished.
2. Next, gather all needed materials. For packaging our BHO/Shatters,
you will need FTPE paper, a clean scale, gloves, concentrate bags, a turkey bag,
and the concentrate. Check out the reference photo for one version of an ideal
set up.
(Note: Be extremely cautious while handling the concentrate slabs!!
Make sure to hold the slabs in a manner where nothing can slip
off the parchment paper, as loss in this manner is easily
avoidable)
3. Take the turkey bag, and label it with : strain name BHO, the weight
of the unit, and the lot number of the unit (the last 4 digits of the barcode). Grab
one of the storage boxes sitting around in the packaging room, and set this bag
up in it.
4. Put gloves on. While handling the FTPE paper, it is important to always
have gloves on as finger contact will leave fingerprints on the paper.
5. Next we will set up the scale. After turning it on, use the knobs on the
feet of the scale to level it. You will know the scale is level when the bubble in
the level on the bottom left of the scale is inside the circle.
6. Place a single sheet of FTPE paper on the scale, and then hit the tare
button to zero it out.
7. Take approximately a gram of concentrate, and lay it on the paper.
Add more or take away as necessary. Ensure that there is 1.00g-1.02g of
concentrate. Again, being underweight is not acceptable.
8. Take the paper and fold it in half horizontally. Fold each side of the
paper in. Finally fold the top flap back, and slide the product into the bag. Make
sure that the folds do not come undone in the bag. See the example photos for
a clear example.
9. Place the completed product into a labeled turkey bag.
10.Repeat 6-9 until all the concentrate is weighed out.
11.Place turkey bag into the Cage and ask the Packaging Manager for the
next task.

If there is any residual product left over, and its total weight is less than .25g toss it
into the Kilz bucket. If there is .25g+ remaining, then package that up, label it at
the top with the weight and strain name, and set it aside. Bring this to the Office
Manager, as this is going to be either a vendor sample or a sample for someone in
the company.
When possible, try to keep samples at .25g or .5g and put the remainder into the
Kilz bucket.

Concentrates (Kief)
Packaging concentrates is a fairly simple and straightforward process. The goal is to
have a clean, attractive looking product that has been accurately weighed out. For
concentrates, the margin of error is between 0g-.02g overweight.
-Being underweight is never acceptable.

1. First, thoroughly clean your work station. To do this, take some paper
towel and get a splash of isopropyl alcohol on it. Take the towel and wipe
down your work surface AND the scale. There should be no particulate left
when you are finished.
2. Next, gather all needed materials. For packaging our kief, you will need
kief containers, a clean scale, gloves, strain specific 1g bags, a turkey bag, a
plastic mixing bowl, spoons, metal tool, and the kief.
3. Take the turkey bag, and label it with : strain name kief, the weight of
the unit, and the lot number of the unit (the last 4 digits of the barcode). Grab
one of the storage boxes sitting around in the packaging room, and set this
bag up in it.
4. Put gloves on.
5. Next we will set up the scale. After turning it on, use the knobs on the
feet of the scale to level it. You will know the scale is level when the bubble
in the level on the bottom left of the scale is inside the circle.
6. Take your kief bags and dump them into the plastic mixing bowl. Take
your metal tool and break the kief up until it is a sand like consistency, and is
evenly mixed. This may take a few minutes.
7. Place a kief container on the scale, and then hit the tare button to zero
it out.
8. Take approximately a gram of kief using the spoons , and place it in the
container Add more or take away as necessary. Ensure that there is 1.00g-
1.02g of kief. Again, being underweight is not acceptable.
9. Close the kief container and place it into the bag.
10.Toss the completed product into a labeled turkey bag.
11.Repeat 7-10 until all the kief is weighed out.
12.Place turkey bag into the Cage and ask the Packaging Manager for the

Flower
Packaging flower is also a relatively straight forward process. The goal is to have a
clean, attractive looking product that has been accurately weighed out. For flower,
the margin of error is between 0g-.03g overweight for 1g and 3.5g units. You may
be a bit more liberal with 7g, 14g, and 28g bags but still try to keep it below .05g
over the desired weight.
-Being underweight is never acceptable.

While weighing out the flower, you must also keep in mind:
Not all the flower will be properly trimmed, so you may need to touch
up the nugs to remove excess leaves and stems. Utilize the trimming
scissors if this is necessary.
Some bud will have seeds that have started to form or are already
formed. It is a crime for us to sell our seeds, so it is imperative that we find
any and remove them from our product. If you do find seeds, put them in a
bag and hold it to the side till you are finished weighting. Ask a Manager
where they would like you to put them.
Some bud will have varying types of mold occurring. Common
examples are powder mildew and bud rot. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
TO REMOVE ALL MOLD!! We do not want our product to go out in such an
undesirable state. A picture example has been included, but if you ever have
any questions about whether or not you may have some mold in your bud, do
not hesitate to ask for help.
Bud Rot:
The dark grey area is what to look out for. This is just one example of the
different types of mold to be on the look for.

1. First, thoroughly clean your work station. To do this, take some paper
towel and get a splash of isopropyl alcohol on it. Take the towel and wipe
down your work surface AND the scale. There should be no particulate left
when you are finished.
2. Next, gather all needed materials. For packaging our flower, you will
need appropriately sized bags, a clean scale, trimming scissors, gloves, a
turkey bag, and the flower. For 3.5g+ units you will also need strain specific
stickers. Additionally, there is a weighing tray that you may utilize if that
makes the process easier for you, which is recommended. Check out the
reference photo for one version of an ideal set up.
3. Take the turkey bag, and label it with : strain name, the weight of the
unit, and the lot number of the unit (the last 4 digits of the barcode). Grab
one of the storage boxes sitting around in the packaging room, and set this
bag up in it.
4. Put gloves on.
5. Next we will set up the scale. After turning it on, use the knobs on the
feet of the scale to level it. You will know the scale is level when the bubble
in the level on the bottom left of the scale is inside the circle.
6. If using a weighing tray, place it on the scale, and then hit the tare
button to zero it out.
7. Take approximately a gram (or however much your desired unit is) and
place it on the scale/in the tray. Add more or take away as necessary. Ensure
that you have an accurate measurement. Again, being underweight is not
acceptable. Place the weed in the bag.
8. If measuring out 3.5g+ bags, after placing the weed in the bag slip a
strain specific sticker behind the flower.
9. Close the unit and place it into the turkey bag.
10.Toss the completed product into a labeled turkey bag.
11.Repeat 7-10 until all the flower is weighed out.
12.If you have any trim from cleaning up the bud, grab a ziploc bag from
the Joint Rolling Area that has been labeled with the strain you were weighing
out and place the trim in it. If there is no bag with the strain you were
handling, create a new bag and place it with the others.
13.Place turkey bag into the cage and ask the Packaging Manager for the
next task.

Pre Rolls

The following is the most technically tricky part of being a packager at

Clandestine. Lucas or Tim will be able to go through the steps with you to
better explain them if necessary.

Joints
1. First, thoroughly clean your work station. To do this, take some paper
towel and get a splash of isopropyl alcohol on it. Take the towel and wipe
down your work surface AND the scale. There should be no particulate left
when you are finished.
2. Next, gather all needed materials: desired strain of shake bag, the
grinder, Raw pre roll cones, the rolling machine (the Mountain), the scale, a
turkey bag, a poker, 3.5g strain bags, stickers and gloves.
3. Take the turkey bag, and label it with : strain name pre rolls and the
lot number of the unit (the last 4 digits of the barcode). Grab one of the
storage boxes sitting around in the packaging room, and set this bag up in it.
4. Next we will set up the scale. After turning it on, use the knobs on the
feet of the scale to level it. You will know the scale is level when the bubble
in the level on the bottom left of the scale is inside the circle.
5. Put gloves on.
6. Fill grinder up with desired strain to the Ninja label. For shake grind for
7-10 seconds, for nugs grind for 30 seconds. Dump onto clean surface/plate.
Sift through material for seeds and stems. Very important that no seeds
or stems makes it into the final product!!
7. Fill the Mountain high roller with cones. Pull up and twist to the right to
lock the Mountain into filling position. Add ground weed to the top of the
cones. Using your hands, spread the product to even fill the cones.
8. Once the cones are mostly filled, tap the Mountain on the table to pack
firmly. Twist back to the left to starting position.
9. Give each cone a quick massage, along with a couple more taps to
further compact the weed. Then take the poker and compact the weed
further. (You may relocate filled cones into a cup for easier access)
10.Weight the packed cone, with an ideal weight of .68g. Add or remove
weed till at desired weight. Twist one to two times around to seal the joint.
11.Place finished joints to the side until you are ready to bag them up.
12.Repeat 8-10 until all cones are finished, then repeat 5-10 until all of the
strain has been used.
13.Once finished rolling, proceed to bag up the joints. Insert a strain
sticker, and then add 2 joints with crutch side up. Place in turkey bag.

Cigs
1. First, thoroughly clean your work station. To do this, take some paper
towel and get a splash of isopropyl alcohol on it. Take the towel and wipe
down your work surface AND the scale. There should be no particulate left
when you are finished.
2. Next, gather all necessary materials: desired strain of shake bag, the
grinder, cig papers, cig, rolling machine, the scale, a poker, cig boxes, a
turkey bag, 7g strain bags and gloves.
3. Take the turkey bag, and label it with : strain name cigs and the lot
number of the unit (the last 4 digits of the barcode). Grab one of the storage
boxes sitting around in the packaging room, and set this bag up in it.
4. Next we will set up the scale. After turning it on, use the knobs on the
feet of the scale to level it. You will know the scale is level when the bubble
in the level on the bottom left of the scale is inside the circle.
5. Fill grinder up with desired strain to the Ninja label. For shake grind for
7-10 seconds. Dump onto clean surface/plate. Sift through material for seeds
and stems. Very important that no seeds or stems makes it into the
final product!!
6. Ensure the machine is thoroughly lubed up. If not take a small rice
sized kernel of coconut oil and apply to all moving parts.
7. Lift lever on rolling machine to open it up. Fill the open cavity of the
roller with ground product. Tap down lightly, and then place empty cig tube
over the metal tip on the side of the machine. Pull lever down, and the
machine will fill the paper. Lift lever back up, and then removed the filled cig.
8. Give it a quick look over to ensure the cig is fully packed, if not hand
add more if necessary.
9. Set cigs aside for now. Continue to make cigs until all the material has
been used,
10.Lay out the flat cig boxes, use the glue applicator to apply glue to
each serrated area. Construct box. Add paper website insert into each box,
and then place 12 cigs in each empty cig box. Be careful to not damage or
spill the cigs, as they are delicate.
11.Close top with the front flap tucked in. Place box into a strain specific
7 gram bag, place in turkey bag.
If the machine gets jammed, there are some tools around the farm which can help.
If this does happen, clean thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol to remove excess
resin, and then dry with paper towel. You may also need a poker to get any resin
that the iso does not. If the machine is cleaned often and thoroughly, there should
be little to no issue with jamming.

Re apply coconut oil after each cleaning. Also be aware, if you use too much
coconut oil it will leave oil stains on the cig papers, avoid this.

Trimming
Having a properly trimmed product is essential to what we do at Clandestine
Gardens.
Important to note:
Some bud will have seeds that have started to form or are already
formed. It is a crime for us to sell our seeds, so it is imperative that we find
any and remove them from our product. If you do find seeds, put them in a
bag and hold it to the side till you are finished trimming.
Picture examples have been included earlier in the guide,
but if you ever have any questions about whether or not you may have some
mold in your bud, do not hesitate to ask for help.

1. Get some gloves, trimming scissors, and find a spot on the trimming
table.
2. Clean your scissors with a bit of isopropyl if they are sticky or squeeky.
A splash of Iso on a paper towel should do the trick, but if not there is a
mason jar full of Iso that you can use to soak your scissors.
3. The Trimming Manager will grab bring the bin of untrimmed bud into
the room. Grab some branches from the bin and place them on the table.
4. Snip each bud off the branch, and place the branches in the branch
box below the table.
5. Trim the bud, ensuring that no excess leaves or stems are left. Be on
the lookout for mold and seeds!! If you come across moldy buds, place them
into the bud bins labeled mold. If you come across seeds, pick them all out
while you trim.
6. Place quality buds into the unmarked bud bins once you have finished
trimming them.
7. Whenever your quality bud bin fills up, dump it into the communal
turkey bag. Always double check to be 100% that you are placing the bud
into the correct bag!! Mistake can easily happen at this stage and you do not
want to mix strains up.
8. As you trim, you will amass a pile of leaves. Once it is relatively large,
dump this into the trim bag.
9. Repeat 4-8 until all the bud has been trimmed
