DNS Server:
A DNS Server is a computer used to translate Host name to IP
address and vice versa.Eith on LAN or WAN.
DNS Zone:
A DNS zone is a subset, often a single domain, of the
hierarchical domain name structure of the DNS. The zone file contains
mappings between domain names and IP addresses and other resources,
organized in the form of text representations of resource records (RR).
ARecord:
An A record maps a host/host FQDN to an IP Address.And its used on
LAN/WAN to connect with the host.
Revers Lookup:
A reverse lookup ,as its name suggests , resolves host name in return of an ip
adress.
DORA:
The DHCP employs a connectionless service model, using the User Datagram
Protocol (UDP). It is implemented with two UDP port numbers for its
operations which are the same as for the BOOTP protocol. UDP port number
67 is the destination port of a server, and UDP port number 68 is used by the
client.
