4. Be able to use a knife safely - blood circle, tringle of death, pass a knife use

the correct grips, (Knife Grips - Forward Grip, Forward Grip Reinforced,

Reverse Grip) & make key cuts safely (Knife Cuts - Stop Cut, Square notch,

Rounded notch, Flat Surface, Reduction, Hook notch).


5. Make an outdoor fire safely - 5 min fire.
6. Make an outdoor shelter - 5 min shelter.
7. Know how to avoid hypothermia - 15 min fire/shelter boil challenge.
8. Know how to call Emergency Services.
9. Be able to use a kitchen tin opener, P58 & penknife type.
10. Be able to go to the loo outdoors.
