Exercise 8. Use the simple future/be going to* or the simple present.

1. Im going to leave in half an hour. I (finish) will finish/am going to finish all of my word
before I (leave) leave.
2. Im going to eat lunch at 12.30. After i (eat) will eat/am going to eat lunch, I (take) take a
nap.
3. III get home around six. When I (get) will get/am going to get home, I(call) call Sharon.
4. Im going to watch a TV program at nine.Before I (watch) will watch/am going to watch
that program at nine, I (write) write to my parents.

Exercise 9. Use the future progressive or simple present.

1. Right now I am attending class. Yesterday at this time, I was attending class. Tomorrow at
this time I (attend) will be attending/am going to be attending class.
2. Tomorrow Im going leave for home. When I (arrive) will be arriving/am going to be
arriving at airport, my whole family (wait) is going to be waiting for me.Fast
3. When I (get) will be getting/am going to be getting up tomorrow morning,the sun (shine)
will be going to shining/is going to be shining , the birds (sing) will be singing/is going to
be singing , at my roommate (lie still) will be lying still/is going to be lying still in bed
fast asleep.
