You have decided to apply for a summer job as a junior counselor at a camp with many
Spanish-speaking children. The people in charge of hiring have asked you to create a
Power Point presentation so that they can properly place you helping with the activities
you like and keep you away from those that you dont. They also want to know some
general information about your personality. Since they want to test your Spanish skills
too, the presentation is to be entirely in Spanish. But dont worry- it only has to be 5
slides long.

Slide #1 should be entitled ME GUSTA MUCHO and have 4 INFINITIVES for 4

activities that you really like to do. Just to show you know what the verb means,
include a picture for EACH infinitive.
Slide #2 should be entitled ME GUSTA and have 4 INFINITIVES for 4 activities
that you like to do. Again, be sure to include a picture for each infinitive.
Slide #3 should be entitled NO ME GUSTA and have 4 INFINITIVES for 4 activities
that you do not like to do. Yes, each infinitive needs a representative picture!
Slide #4 should be entitled NO ME GUSTA NADA and have 4 INFINITIVES for 4
activities that you do not like to do at all. Since you definitely dont want to get
stuck with doing these activities, make sure you include a picture for each just to
avoid confusion.
Slide #5 should be entitled YO and give 4 general statements about your
personality based on your likes and dislikes. 2 should say what you are like and 2
should say what you are not like.

Since you want your application to be original and stand out from the rest, you are only
going to use 3 activities from your Chapter 1A vocabulary list. The rest will come from
your books glossary or a Spanish-English dictionary.

Luckily, you Spanish teacher has offered to help you along by providing you with a note
sheet (on back or this sheet) to organize your thoughts and HIGHLY RECOMMENDS that
you have her proofread it so its PERFECT before you send if off.

Although you will make your presentation to the panel as a Power Point saved on your
student account, you MUST turn in a hard copy of your presentation with you rubric
attached.
