The variational form of Mindlin plate using Hellinger-Reissner formulation

Z Z Z
HR = (  )dV + (  q u)dV tT udA = 0
u T u T
(1)

Which could be re-written by two variational forms

Z Z
( q u)dV tT udA = 0
T u T
(2)
Z

(u )dV = 0 (3)

In order to prove this formulation satisfying LBB-condition we must be able to write Equa-
tion (1) under the mixed form Bathe (1999)

a(d, d) + b(, d) = (f , d) (4)

b(, d) c(, ) = 0 (5)

In which d = (u, u , ), d is the test function of d on compatible function space for

displacement, and is the test function of on compatiple functional space for stress
From Equation (2) and Equation (3), I could not see aR suitable derivation of a(., .) and b(., .).
One possibility could be a(., .) =R 0 and b(, d) = T u dV , but Equation (5) cannot
be achieved because of the term dV ??
