Character of Shashi

In this film is told that Shashi a good housewife. She always provides the
needs of her husband and children. She is very good in making Ladoo, a kind of
Indian food that many people love. Shashi also produces this ladoo on a small
scale (home industry). Shashi always underestimated in her family. Especially
because of her cant speak English. While in America Shashi takes course to
study English. She can pass the exam of English well.

Ending

When she order food in a cafe, not food that she get, she is shame
because doesnt understand English. Even that makes it depresse. And then she
found the idea to take English course for 4 weeks. Since following this class,
Shashi ability of English language begin to increase quickly. There she meets
new friends who support her. In this class Shashi's love for the family is really
on the test. Laurent an classmate from France, stated that he like Shashi. In this
time, Shashi doesnt reply Laurent's love. Shashi remember if she doesnt
appreciate with her husband and child. Shashi wants to live free and feel
appreciate. With Laurent Shashi more appreciate. Finally she receive Laurent's
love. When her husband and child arrive in America, Shashi is shock and
confuse. She doesnt tell about her relationship with Laurent with the family.
