    I have some problem in valuation method. My valuation method is Moving Average but I need
    batchwise costing while production. Can you please suggest me some solution?

    B1 only support item level costing. Batch level costing would not be possible even by SDK.

    Rahul,

    The current SAP Business One product does not support batch costing. There is nothing exactly similar in the
    inventory valuation methods that you could use for this.

    What is the industry you are asking this for and could share some background.

    I'm implementing SAP For one of the chemical industry where these people used to do reprocessing
    during production.

    Batchwise Costing

    These people use to receive the finish product by issuing the old batch stock of the same finish product. Its not
    possible in B1 but there is work around. Similarly if they have more than one batch then during reprocessing
    they need to issue the material. For this purpose they want batchwise costing.

    Hi Rahul,

    I am facing problem in Production process of chemical industry.Since you are also implementing SAP in
    Chemical stream. Is it possible for you to share or help me to configure the production process.

    FG items managed in Batches.88% final product and 12%loss.UOM is in KGS.
