Connecting People to Nature: Graduates Workshop on Nature

The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) with the support of ICIMOD is organizing a Graduates
Workshop on Nature Photography on World Environment Day (WED)-2017, to mark the
importance of the Day. This year theme of the WED is "Connecting People to Nature".
Nature photography has various importance including updating and keeping record of the nature
for future reference and providing scenic beauty. In this connection, we are organizing a nature
photography workshop among the graduate students. The photography, as either a professional
or a hobby, is increasing in the world and in Nepal too. It has become a fascinating sector in
Nepal especially among youngsters due to the rapid expansion of smart/camera phones in recent
years. However, most of them may lack the proper way to capture the photographs; therefore, a
semi-professional workshop to the graduate students who are from conservation sector or
interested in nature photography is very essential and timely.

Criterias to Apply

Keen interest in photography with either DSLR or Compact camera.

Deadline for registration: 30 May 2017

Venue: ICIMOD Knowledge Park, Godwari, Lalitpur.
