FEEDING CONVEYORS WITH

INDEXING UNIT
To feed tanks a conveyor is necessary. The
conveyors are in different size, models and width
so to assure the complete length.
Are in stainless steel frame with guidelines and
wire for the safety stop-emergency.
BATCH PREPARATION UNIT + INLET TROLLEY

The loading trolley has the purpose to load the batteries that arrive from loading trolleys
into
formation tanks. It has a mainframe made of stainless steel AISI 316L tubulars that
embraces the battery transport conveyor. Trolley runs along special rails placed on the
conveyors.
The tank is selected by the operator in the pc management &
software. The job of the preparation unit and inserting is absolutely mandatory to have a
perfect disposition between batteries (should have a small constant space to let the water
flow).

WATER BATHES MOD. WB 320
A certain No. of water bathes is necessary to a good performance on the plant.
BATTERIES
All the tanks are under control on the operative box following the instruction gave from the
plant manager. All process is recorded on the PC hard disk.
All the water bathes dimension will be tailored to plant necessity and moving batteries, let a
space between all lines so the water can easily flow on the sides, reducing the temperature.
On them a PT100 placed inside a battery in each row, check the acid temperature so to rise
the cool water inlet, the flow, and also, if necessary, automatically stop rectifiers.
UNLOADING TROLLEY WITH CONVEYOR

It moves automatically and unload the batteries at the exit of formation tank and place
themselves on the conveyor to go on warehouse multilevel or to finishing line.
ACID LEVEL CONTROL AND REFILLER

The acid level control machine has the purpose to check the acid level, minimum and
maximum, inside the battery.
Mainframe: electro-welded stainless steel AISI 316L that contains the operative head. The
frame is closed with panels and protections realized in according to standards CE

BATTERIES
This equipment has the purpose to fill

the acid batteries to a predetermined
level and to verify the presence of the
acid inside the battery.
The number of operative heads
depends to productivity that customer
wants to reach.
Features:
Mainframe: electro-welded stainless
steel AISI 316L that contains the
operative heads.
The frame is closed with panels and
protections realized in according to
standards CE.
FILLING HEAD
It has six little heads with spouts in order to type of battery to work. A pneumatic
actuator for the ascent/descent of filling head.
Two hand wheels to adjust the wheelbase of spouts along Y axle, so its possible to work the
batteries type 3x2 and 6x1. The adjustments of little heads along X axle must do manually
by a screw. The filling head is also adjustable along Y axle in order to holes of battery. Its
possible to adjust the height of filling head by hand wheel.

ACID FILLING AND LEVELLING
The acid is pumped constantly by centrifugal pump. A
three way valve, is the core of the machine: this grant

the flux of the acid in the different directions, while a
pump create the vacuum inside the cells, sucking the
over-level acid and send it to the correct collecting
tank.
Apposite sensors control the complete process to grant
the filing.

This unit is the first real volumetric acid filler. It

works by the volume controls system applied by
orsaiec.
This unit with 2 heads is able to produce 8

batteries per minute type L3, with the accuracy
of 4 gr/kg.

Water bath formation
BATTERIES
The Water Table is designed for the formation of automotive batteries Car and Truck and
Semitraction Batteries.
This water table has the capacity of 80 batteries per each formation cycle.
The loading batteries is manual, for push inside the batteries the water table is equipped
with the PE roller that reduce the push force at 0,5 kg the force that need for load the
batteries. When the table is loaded the door with the Up-Down movement can be closed
from two handle with eccentric movement.
With the SC option is an ideal water bath for the AGM Batteries Formation, thanks at
the water recirculation system that permit to mix and chill the water on board of the Water
Bath.
The water table is equipped with the hood and four lateral window for batteries connection
and for the inspection during the formation.
The windows and doors are equipped with micro-switch for the safety; when during the
formation the window is open the rectifiers stop to send the current (it changes from run to
halt its state).
When the window is closed, the rectifiers restart to send the current.

This unit is developed integrally in Polypropylene
for all parts that are in contact with the acid to
reduce the possible acid contamination.

The Acid Recirculation Batteries Formation is realized in Stainless Steel 316, and
Polypropylene High Impact. The ARSa is one the biggest sys to forms the Car and track
batteries with a short cycle time, 220Ah Truck in less of 10 hours. With the ARSa we supply
also the process to realize the perfect formation cycle designed on the Customers batteries
product.
The structure is designed for an easy loading/unloading of the battery.
It is possible to have configuration with the capacity of:

1.2 ACID DILUTION
BATTERIES
ACID PREPARATION, from the lorry to the end user points
The Acid Preparation start from the 1860/1840 gr/l to arrive at each specific gravity
need. All in automatic, without any manual operation. It isnt works by a batch
preparation, but it is working just by an end user consumption. When the end user
starts to call the SG, the acid preparation starts to reintegrate the volume that was
called at the same gravity. The acid can be chilled at which temperature you need, by
direct exchanger or by a fast cooling just before to use it.
Per each tank you have only one

Specific gravity like per example:
1400 gr/l for the pasting
1100 gr/l for the formation
1330 gr/l after the dumping
1290 gr/l for the top off.
The preparation is under control by the

PLC program and the densimeter
instrument. This instrument is
manufactured under our specification
and with our target range of tolerance
that is 0.1 gr/l.

The GEL Acid Filler is designed for the initial filling of the GEL 6 and 12 Voltage Batteries.
This type of Unit is developed for give at the end User the possibility to configure it as per
his requirement, with the advantage that is possible to change the configuration after its
installation. With the single head configuration is possible to have the production capacity of
2 batteries per minute. With the double heads is possible to have 4 batteries per minute.
Is possible to use the filler as an Acid Leveling unit, for refill the batteries after the
formation.
With a huge range of possible configuration, we have the conviction that this is the BEST
Solution present on the market in this moment.

Slurry Preparation
BATTERIES
The slurry preparation is a system that permit to

prepare the active mass for the tubular positive plate.
The system is designed for mixing the PbO and the
Pb3O4 with deionized water and low quantity of SO4.
The advantage of the Slurry System is that the active
mass remains stable for a long time because there
isnt any sulfating of the oxide mixed, because this
suspension required a long time for worsen.
Another important point of the slurry is connecting to
the waste material generated by the drying just after
the filling of the plate: ALL THIS MATERIAL IS
RECYCLING INTO the next slurry preparation.
Slurry Filling Station
The slurry filling station is the unit

that is required for the filling of the
tubular plate with the slurry active
mass.
The station is completely in Stainless
Steel and the configuration are 2 as
describe here below.
The stations are very simple and very
easily to run in production with high
efficiency. The standard plate
production is 1400 per shift (Std. Plate
125Amp)

CTF-* Specifications :
The CTF-* CONTAINERS are projected to
formed the Industrial Cells. The container
that we propose is projected to
accommodate inside it, 24 cells maximum
carrying on the Stainless Steel 316 trays.
According to the height of the elements to
load, in the tank are positioned 24 cells
maximum for each pallet, that will allow to
immerse in the water by a crane. Each
pallet is independent from the others,
therefore is possible to load elements of
different eight for each pallet.
The water-cooling system with automatic
control and handling, is provided of a
recycle system, with close-circuit pump, that permit to generate the correct turbulence for
cool the cells. On the water circuit is installed one heat-exchanger that permit to cool the
water at about 18C. This system it is that improves the water uniformity inside each
single sector, allowing the cooling process to be uniform on each element present in the
pallet.
The water temperature is controlled from a temperature-probe handled by a thermo
regulator that will add extra water in case of increase of temperature. A suction cup and
protection doors are included with the container. There are holes on the Cup, that will
allow the wires coming from the rectifier to be connected.

2.1 FUME TREATMENT
Scrubber
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The SCR** is for the fumes extraction and treatment for
deployment in the formation room. Manufactured entirely in
PE and reinforced where necessary, this scrubber is
normally installed in or close to the formation room. It is
complete with an independent ventilator fan, water pump,
level controls and electrical control panel. The SCR** is
ENVIRONMENT
composed of three principal parts.

The upper part contains the drop separators and is used to
separate the suspended drops in airflow before the clean air
is expelled into the ambient.
The second part, located below the drop separator
compartment, is where water is sprayed onto the air being
sucked up towards the fan.
The third area is located at the bottom and is where the
water is stored and pumped back up to filter the air.
PROCESS OPERATION:
Dirty air arriving from the formation
room is introduced into the lower
part of the scrubber.
Based on the internal configuration
(applied during construction), the
air is drawn upwards into the mist of
water generated using a water
pump and a set of sprinkler. This
demister effectively covers all the
rising air and drags the particles of
suspended dust towards the water
tank located at the bottom. This
mist passes through the drop
separator section where
condensation occurs and the drops
unite and run back down to the
water tank. The water pump
continuously circulates the water in
the scrubber and is hardwired into
the fan controls.
