bands & speakers, childrens tent, inflatables,

Lake. 6-9:30 PM Bring a lawnchair or blanket,
your favorite beverage & snacks, and join your
St. Johns family under the yellow windsock for a
free evening of fun & fellowship. All ages

at 2006 Hillview Drive from 7-10 PM.
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a concert
by Bennie and the Jets, a Tribute to Elton
John. Advance tickets $50. One hundred
percent (100%) of ticket sales goes directly
toward the purchase of the raw materials needed
to pack Mercy Meals. For more information and

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Northeast Nebraska Continuum of Care
a group of human service providers in the
area will host Project Homeless Connect,
an event designed to help address the needs
of individuals and families in the area who
are experiencing homelessness or near
homelessness. It will take place from
1-6 PM on Friday, June 23, at Norfolk High
School. The event will feature a multitude
of agencies at one location providing a wide
range of free services from haircuts to
mental health treatment. People can apply
for housing assistance, physicals, eye
exams, dental assistance, and a hot meal
that day. Free daycare will be provided. If
you would like to know more or volunteer,

We are in need of volunteers
to be team leaders for Day
Camp starting with Sunday
evening, June 18th
(orientation time to be
announced) and then Monday
through Thursday, June 19-
22 (8 AM 4 PM) and Friday, June 23 (8
AM 2 PM). We also need volunteers to be
registration helpers, parking lot attendants
at arrival and dismissal, and kitchen help
for snack time and lunch. If you are
interested or have questions, please mark
the Registration Slip in today's bulletin or

CENTER health form in the back of the sanctuary and
ROCK-A-THON return to the church office by June 12.
Tuesday, May 23 from 9am-5pm A sack lunch is all thats required!
The goal is to raise $7,000 to purchase the
hot containers for the Meals on Wheels
program. The Center served 19,414 meals
in 2016. Donations will be accepted
through sponsoring a rocker or online at
www.norfolkseniorcenter.org. Thank you
for your support.
