Why have you applied a 10 G force for frontal impact on your chassis? ( A commo

why a CVT and not manual gear box?

Rack and pinion is to be essentially used.
Show the specs such as steering angle, Steering ratio, lock to lock angles, turn

In the first round you are expected to give a presentation for 15 minutes on you
r proposed design. Once the presentation is done, the panel of judges (usually 2
) question you on your proposed designs. In our case all the questions were on o
ur gear box, questions ranged from design considerations to manufacturing proces
ses intended to be used. They expect you to have planned every step of the manuf
acturing phase. So, I would suggest you to put only those data that you have tho
roughly researched and arrived at.
The written test has two papers, one is the Rule Quiz and the other Basic Mechan
ical/Automobile Trivia. In the trivia section, they test your understanding of b
asic principles you have studied so far.
