Measurement Mode
Fixture Laser
1. Standard Straightness
-the laser beam is set roughly parallel to a surface or an object. Two points
are used as reference.
Pruftechnik
1. Multipoint mode
-is the default setting, and is suitable for most measurements. In this
mode, the sensor is manually positioned and measurement taken by
pressing <enter>. The measurement angle is determined by the built-in
electronic inclinometer.
2. Static Mode
-is used for vertically mounted applications. In this method, the sensor is
positioned manually at 0deg, 90deg, 180deg, and 270deg locations. The
measurement angle is determined manually.
3. Sweep Mode
-is suitable for applications where the surface to be measured allows the
continues rotation of the tip of the bracket plunger through a large enough
angle.
4. Absolute mode
-is intended for Straightness type measurement and also to compare split
lines to bore centrelines. The laser beam is measured directly without
calculating bore CenterPoints.
