    Airworthiness Directive applies except in accordance with the requirements of this Airworthiness Directive.

    Main landing gear side brace pin

    This Airworthiness Directive applies to ATR 42 aircraft MSN 121 to 143 including.

    In order to prevent the possible rupture of the main landing gear side brace pin further to a defective
    deshydrogenation after chromium plating, the following measures are rendered mandatory :

    - At next scheduled maintenance check or within 6000 landings after the effective date of this
    Airworthiness Directive, replace the concerned pins in accordance with ATR 42-32-0070 Service
    Bulletin.
