Prayer Development

Theme:
Continue to have faith and hope in the Lord and to never be doubtful of him.

Passage:
No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come to those who are
treacherous without cause. Psalm 25:3

Reflection:
God calls us to be hopeful and have faith in him. When we feel lost, abandoned, abused, or a
tragedy or terrible event has taken place we must have hope. We must believe in the Lord that
things will get better through tough times in life. Knowing that God is always by my side gives
me so much comfort and joy. I have no doubt that God will make things better in the end.

Prayer:
Dear God,
When I wake up everyday give me the ability to see and appreciate all the blessings you have
given to me
Please guide me as I go through each and every day of my life
When I am faced with turmoil or doubt, help my trust in you and bring me back to the light
Send down love and guidance to those who are lost and feel defeated, bring them hope for the
future,
Amen.
