Over the last three school years, Rachel has established herself as a talented and well liked Peer Evaluator by the teachers she works with and a trusted and resourceful leader among the Q-Comp staff. Rachel has been a very important contributor to the Q-Comp team. Hired for Q-Comp in our second year, she entered as the novice in a well-formed group and quickly became recognized by her peers as a leader and one of our most effective Peer Evaluators. Some of the forms that our Peer Evaluators use most often in their meetings with teachers were developed by Rachel. She has been a leader on our staff development committee, taken an active role in providing, professional development for other Peer Evaluators, and has collaborated with other Peer Evaluators to design and present several professional development sessions for other teachers in the district. I have great respect for Rachel’s insight, and often seck her advice before making important decisions.
