‘To Whom It May Concern:
am writing this letter to recommend Rachel Jorgensen for a position as a Work Experience Coordinator. Over the last
three school years, Rachel has established herself as a talented and well liked Peer Evaluator by the teachers she works
with and a trusted and resourceful leader among the Q-Comp staff. Her boundless enthusiasm, creative mind, impeccable
work ethic, and student centered approach will make her an ideal Work Experience Coordinator.
Rachel has been a very important contributor to the Q-Comp team. Hired for Q-Comp in our second year, she entered as
the novice in a well-formed group and quickly became recognized by her peers as a leader and one of our most effective
Peer Evaluators. Some of the forms that our Peer Evaluators use most often in their meetings with teachers were
developed by Rachel. She has been a leader on our staff development committee, taken an active role in providing,
professional development for other Peer Evaluators, and has collaborated with other Peer Evaluators to design and present
several professional development sessions for other teachers in the district. I have great respect for Rachel’s insight, and
often seck her advice before making important decisions.
Rachel is held in high esteem by everyone she works with, and I am confident that you will not regret giving her an
opportunity. She has all of the characteristics you would look for ina Work Experience Coordinator. She is intelligent,
empathetic, and hard working. She is great with students and communicates very well with adults. She has the rare
combination of being both incredibly organized and unbelievably flexible. Her sense of humor and approachable
personality make her a joy to work with. She is conscientious, professional, reflective, caring, kind, flexible, and
considerate of others” ideas and feelings. She shows a genuine interest in people and a willingness to lear and go the
extra mile,
1 believe that the training and experience Rachel has gained in Q-Comp will allow her to return to teaching more prepared
than ever, and I am confident that you will be more than satisfied with the work she does if given the opportunity. Please
don’t hesitate to contact me by phone (763-506-1378) or e-mail (todd.mensink@ahschools.us) if I can provide any further
insights.
Sincerely,
= LO
