Nanci has established a positive rapport with her students ‘and thus, is keenly aware of both their invidual social/emitoinal and academic needs. Since Nanci “knows” her students, she can reacily foresee when a potential challenge may arise, As a result, she calmly addresses the student to ensure that the learning environment is enhanced through the use of various strategies from her “toolbox.” Nanci consistently practices a high level of reflection.
