From The Editor
Hello and welcome to the June 2017 edition of Holden Torque. The official publication of
the 48 to 78 Holden Car Club Hunter Valley Inc. The cover picture this month is a great
looking line up of club cars on the recent run to Gosford Classic Car Museum. I had a call
this week from Joel Wakely author of Legends of the 48-215 Joel is almost ready to
release his new book. The new book features a few of our members cars and hopefully we
can get Joel to attend another meeting after the release.
Please support our sponsors.

Sat 20th, Sun 21st May. Shannons Tamworth Classic Motor Show
Sat 20th, 7 cars cruised to Tamworth after a very early start and after travelling through
rain, fog and road works we finally arrived to check out some gorgeous cars inside the
entertainment centre and some of our sister club the Tamworth Classic Holden Club 48 to
78 cars. We had a lovely Chinese dinner Sat night and slept very well after a big day.
Sunday we cruised to Werris Ck and checked out the railway museum then on to Bobs
Shed at Quirindi. Wow, very impressive collect and well worth a look if you havent been.
After lunch at Bobs we presented them with a windscreen banner to display on their wall.
Sunday 21st, Several members who didnt travel away attended Tilligery Motorama. Always
a good day.
