perhaps even more. Given that they are relatively new, it is devious7 as to what the possible long
term effects are of utilizing these electronic cigarettes. Several recent studies, however, have
found that certain e-cig sweeteners could posses virulent12 fumes with the same amount of toxins
as a regular cigarette. A chemistry researcher by the name of Najat Saliba at the American
University of Beirut, however, states that ominous6 effects of e-cigs is entirely up to the
consumer and his or her habits or choices. Saliba asserts this because users can control the flavor,
power, and duration of puffs for the devices so they ultimately decide their own pernicious8 fate.
Sweeteners with glucose and sucrose for example are said to be the most deterimental5 because
they have been found to contain higher concentrations of furans than unflavored liquids. These
two are, however, not used in quantities big enough to release toxic levels so users dont have to
worry too much about being on the lookout for these deleterious3 compounds. These are all
theories nonetheless, so it still highly controversial as to which of the two is more baneful1 since
truth about electronic cigarettes in the past. The industrys iniquitous9 lies may be due in part by
flattened sales since recently NJoy, once the top e-cig manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy. These
lies, however, have left many parents and consumers with a rancorous10 taste in their mouth for
misleading them. Instead of generating profit, the electronic cigarette along with the tobacco
