BCS 9th Grade Student and Family,

We hope summer has been both enjoyable and restful for you. As summer draws to a
close, we would like to officially welcome you to the start of the 2016-17 school year. As part of
our kick-off to the school year, we invite you to our annual Open House and Ninth Grade
Orientation held on Monday, August 29th at the high school. During this first official meeting
as the Class of 2020, students and families will be given important information regarding some
of the requirements for high school as well as some helpful hints for the upcoming years. In
addition, parents and guardians will be given the opportunity to meet their childs teachers for
the school year. Ninth grade orientation will last approximately 30 minutes, after which time
students and families of ninth graders may tour the building or visit with the teachers of other
family members who are in other grades. Light snacks, refreshments, and prizes will be
provided. Please look at the schedule below and select one orientation time that works best for
your schedule. There is no need to reserve a spot. Simply attend the time slot that works for
you.
Please attend one of the sessions below:
5:00 - 5:40 pm
5:40 - 6:20 pm
6:20 - 7:00 pm
