Advanced Software Upgrade Guide

The appearance of the TV and the remote control may differ depending on your TV model.

1 Downloading the software.

Download new S/W on-line (www.samsung.com/support/download)
Connect to www.samsung.com and press the button at the top right to move to the website for
the corresponding country.

How to prepare the USB Memory Drive

1. S
 ave the firmware file from Samsung.com onto
your computer.
2. C
 onnect the USB Memory Drive to the USB port
of your PC. Copy the file onto the USB Memory
Drive.
3. G
 o to the USB Memory Drive and then double
click the file.
4. Press the Install button.
5. U
 nzipping is in progress and the program will
close automatically when the installation is
complete.

6. A folder containing the firmware files has been added to the USB memory drive.
7. S
 afely disconnect the USB memory drive by right clicking the green check mark on
the taskbar and then left click Safely Remove.

1. Upgrade the software using the USB Memory Drive.

5. The TV will display fig 2 (Connecting to portable device).

NN If fig 2 is not displayed press the MENU button on the
remote control. Using the up and down keys, select
Support, then press the ENTERE button.

6. Using the up and down keys on the remote control select

Software Upgrade then press the ENTERE button.

7. The TV will display fig 3 (Software Upgrade).

8. Using the up and down keys on the remote control select Connecting to portable device
By USB then press the ENTERE button. New portable device is connected.

9. A message will appear asking if you want to perform the Media Play
firmware update. Select OK and then press the ENTERE Content Library
button on the remote control. Software Upgrade

10. The firmware update will start. This should take 3 min to 5

Kunjungi www.samsung.com lalu tekan tombol di sudut kanan atas untuk beralih ke situs web
untuk negara yang sesuai.

Cara menyiapkan Drive Memori USB

1. S
 impan file firmware dari Samsung.com ke
komputer Anda.
2. S
 ambungkan Drive Memori USB ke port USB
pada PC Anda. Salin file tersebut ke Drive
Memori USB.
3. B
 uka Drive Memori USB lalu klik dua kali file
tersebut.
4. Tekan tombol Instal.
5. F
 ile zip akan dibuka dan program akan ditutup
secara otomatis setelah penginstalan selesai.

6. Folder yang berisi file firmware telah ditambahkan ke drive memori USB.
7. L
 epaskan drive memori USB secara aman dengan mengklik kanan tanda centang
hijau pada taskbar lalu klik kiri 'Lepaskan Secara Aman.
