Forever

I often hear people chatting about me. It hurts me it slices my heart it stabs my back it
kills my soul. It pains me that only few believe in my existence. I heard the dialogue of two girlfriends a
while back and I cant help but to feel sad.

Girl 1: (sobs) Break na kami.
Girl 2: (snaps) Sabi na walang forever eh!
Girl 1: Pano sina mama at papa mo?
Girl 2: M.U. lang sila. Haha.
Girl 1: Di na rin ako naniniwala sa forever. (sobs)

I know I know you were hurt. I know you were in deep pain. I know how he cheated. I know
you believed in him. I also know that you had no proper closure thats why you are dealing with so much
anguish and that your heart is still covered with darkness. You loved him so much so when your
relationship ended, you were unmoved, lonely and depressed. Life is sometimes topsy-turvy, unfair and
full of unwanted consequences, of course. Believe me, dear, I understand your agony and I understand
that what youre going through is tough. You hated me, okay. You hoped too much you invested too
much love that you had nothing left for yourself and that you had nothing in return.

Your relationship with him failed but wont you try to love again? Dont you think that I, forever,
didnt flourish between you two because you were not meant for each other? Maybe, you just have to be
thankful for the best person is yet to come. The perfect person for you is still preparing for his arrival in
your life. Trust me; hell prove to you that I really exist.

True love its truly hard to find one and youve been searching for it youve been searching
for it a long time ago for you believed that I exist within true love. You failed once, twice, thrice and you
got tired. Until then, you didnt recognize and acknowledge me. Until then, you were hurling me all the
blames of your unfortunate affairs. Just why? Arent you being unfair? You had love at the wrong time,
dont you think?

I, together with love and trust are sad every time you stumble and cry at night with nothing to
hold on to but your pillows. You are broken into pieces and some pieces of your heart are nowhere to be
found anymore. You lost hope and you didnt believe in us any longer. I know your desire of finding your
true love but then, how can you reach me if you are refraining me to reside within your heart and mind?
How can you have me if doubt is reigning within you? Dear, believe in the power of true love so that you
might find your happy ever after so that you might find me your forever.

If you see your mom and dads eyes and if you see them together, please realize realize that I
exist in the hearts of those who truly love and in the hearts of those who know how to treasure love and
trust. You may ask me why were you hurt even when you gave your all but I tell you, you have
experienced that because the next happening in your life will be an overwhelming happiness to you. If
you and your friends are together and you are laughing, embracing, talking and enjoying each others
company, please realize realize that I exist in the hearts of those who treasure friendship. Yes, I dont
only live for intimate affairs but also for friendship. And trust me, if you find a real friendship, that is
more treasurable for I cant be easily be broken and I cant be easily ended in the grounds of a solid and
true friendship. If you also see your grandparents who are eating together, please realize realize that I
exist in the hearts of those who possess a strong relationship which has a strong foundation. Believe me;
no building which has a resilient foundation has ever collapsed so easily. Just like your home that has the
support of love, unity, trust, care and responsibility.

Most importantly, the foundation of an everlasting forever is God. Love of God itself is having
forever. Seek Him and you shall find me. Seek Him and you shall have me. And put Him at the center of
your intimate affair, home, friendship and self. Only then you can find the real happiness that youve been
dreaming of. Only then you can find me, only then you can have forever.

I exist, my dear, but if you dont believe in me still, then stay single FOREVER.
